The Coastal Commission on Aug. 12th 2009, concluded that this project is appealable. On Nov. 4th 2009, the Coastal Commission unanimously voted to hear the appeal filed by the Concerned Citizens of Cayucos. The next hearing date is pending until further notice. It is very important for anyone who is interested in the preservation of the Cayucos coastline, and mitigating precedent setting, massive and out-of-scale construction in Cayucos, to attend these hearings. |

They also required additional mitigations concerning possible soil contamination, construction traffic, dust containment during construction, and a performance bond.
